The Walking Dead second episode was quite slower one but ended on a very interesting point but more than interesting was the start of 3rd episode in which Shane is cutting his hair. Otis and Shane managed to pass through he zombies by diverting their attention and collected the desired medicines but they never made a plan to exit from the emergency medical vehicle. This was realized to them once they opened the door and passed through many close calls.
They made a plan to split themselves once surrounded by many walkers because they were short of ammunition by now. In the other parts of episode it was shown that Carol is crying more which restricted Daryl to sleep comfortably and during the night he once again takes on a mission to search for little Sophia alone. He was accompanied by rude Andrea for the sake of search and they were seen moving in the dark woods where people would not even like to proceed in normal days. There they saw a dead man hanging with rope but converted into a walker on which Daryl never wanted to waste one of his arrow but Andrea forced him to do so.
Another encounter was shown between zombies of school against Shane and Otis. Thereafter he was seen back at Hershel’s farm alone in the vehicle. Carl’s life was saved and Rick was in no more condition to transfer his blood for son. Here the arrival of Shane was just in time to save the life of Carl. Then he told everyone that Otis has died saving his life but once he went to take shower there he looked at his head wound in which he had a flashback of what actually happened and how he deceived his fellow Otis to save his own life from the herd of zombies following them.
To me this was the most worst move of this season by anyone because if Otis managed to survive alone even after splitting apart then he could have also managed to make it to the car with Shane. But once the matter of life and death (that too such a miserable one) came in front of Shane’s eyes, he changed his mind saying sorry to old and sincere partner. The role of Shane character seems little awkward in the show now and many people were expecting that he might die in this encounter. He has done a wrong deed for second time intentionally during the whole Show, first one was when he aimed at Rick wishing to kill him season 1.
